Jasmine Goldband / The InclineOne man bit off another man’s right ear during an early morning argument about President Donald Trump, per Pittsburgh police.
The two men argued about Trump, things escalated and one man bit off the other man’s right ear, Pittsburgh Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Emily Schaffer said in a press release.
The argument happened in the 30-year-old victim’s East Liberty apartment in the 300 block of Amber Street, Schaffer said, and the victim ran to a gas station on Baum Boulevard in East Liberty for help.
City police responded around 6:45 a.m., and paramedics transported him to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition. Police said they found the ear in the apartment.
The other man fled the scene before police arrived, and police still hadn’t found him by 10:30 a.m., Schaffer said. She said the two men knew each other.
Schaffer said police couldn’t share more details about the incident, including potential charges.
