Run now, beer later: The best signs from the 2017 Pittsburgh Marathon
Beer, food and farts, naturally.

Marathon and half-marathon runners were greeted this morning by thousands of cheerleaders and their signs, promising beer and wine or imparting Yoda’s wisdom, all while trying to make a few steps of the runner’s 26.2 or 13.1 miles a little easier — or funnier.
We stopped by the South Side, where we saw these gems.

Our team was at Mile 2 and 24, cheering on runners. Editor Lexi Belculfine and Sales and Events VP Ryan Croyle posed here, while waiting for marathoners to circle back to the Strip District.
