First the bad news: There’s no Allegheny County fair.

But Pittsburghers don’t have to go too far to find summer carnivals, livestock on display, odd contests and other county fair staples. Here’s a rundown of 10 nearby fairs that feature milk chugging contests, rabbit agility, tractor square dances and more.
