700 Mansfield Ave. (Green Tree)
Studio
$795 per month
It’s not technically in the city, but it’s close enough — and cool enough — that it had to be included. The building’s recent renovation has transformed the space into a modern design marvel set atop a vibrant palette of rich colors. Despite its small size as a studio apartment, the layout flows well, so the space doesn’t feel cramped. Added bonus: There’s a pool and a dog trail at the complex.

235 South Fairmount (Friendship)
1 bedroom
$999 per month
Ever dream of living in a Victorian homestead? Now’s your chance to rent a room inside this regal home.

The apartment features a stained glass window, a curved wall, and a cute pillar/mantle nook perfect for staging Instagram photos.

1914 Murray Ave. (Squirrel Hill)
4 bedrooms
$1,595 per month
Location is everything for this apartment. Situated above a market and a deli, it’s across the street from Giant Eagle and steps from a bakery. Though the listing doesn’t offer a peek inside the unit, it lists four bedrooms and two bathrooms — a lot of space for the price.

2150 Wightman St. (Squirrel Hill)
3 bedrooms
$1,650 per month
Scoring a dedicated parking space in the city is a big deal, and this place does one better: It’s got a dedicated parking garage.
Newly updated, it also features neat architecture, a sun room, good counter space and patterned flooring in the bathroom.

Josephine Street at South 26th Street (South Side)
3 bedrooms
$1,999 per month
Freshly updated with a luxurious bathroom and gleaming hardwood floors, this spot maintains its character with plenty of exposed brick. Location is key here, as it’s a short walk to South Side Works.
