Pittsburgh Pride photos: 35 frank, fierce and fabulous moments
Thousands marched Downtown today.

Forget black and gold. Today, Pittsburgh’s colors were rainbow.
Thousands took to the streets in two Pride marches, and crowds packed the sidewalks cheering them on, dancing and waving rainbow flags.
The day began with the People’s Pride March (organized by Who’s Nexter Ciora Thomas). After that, the EQT Equality March took the stage, sending a steady stream of clubs, universities, churches, companies and floats through Downtown for two hours.
Thanks to the inclusion of corporate brand name “EQT” in its title, the Equality March has faced some criticism. “Those corporations love to put on the rainbows just to make it seem like they’re inclusive,” Thomas told WESA, “but they’re really not.”
After the festivities end today, Pride Month continues with a host of activities for the rest of June — here’s the full list from Queer PGH.
Here are 35 of the frankest, fiercest and most fabulous moments we saw at the two marches today.
