⌛️ 7 p.m. Monday (North Shore): Just in time for the new year, it’s time for a heady discussion about … time. Hear about the debate over time and the time symmetry of modern quantum mechanics at Carnegie Science Center’s Cafe Scientifique.

Tuesday, Jan. 8

🎸 9 p.m. Tuesday (Lawrenceville): Listen to an acoustic tunes at Hambone’s open stage hosted by Who’s Nexter Liss Victory. Get there by 7 p.m. if you want to sign up to play.

🎉 8 p.m. Friday (Downtown): Celebrate Friday with Schwa de Vivre’s “dragalicious improv comedy concert cabaret” titled “AFTER WERK! Happy New Queer.” Expect live vocals, stand-up comedy, games, and glitter.

Saturday, Jan. 12

🍹 10 a.m. Saturday (Strip District): Get a crash course in kombucha with staff from Pittsburgh Juice Company at Heirloom Superfood Market.

🌿 10 a.m. Saturday (Collier Township): Practice yoga among the plants at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden’s indoor winter yoga series.

🍊 11 a.m. Saturday (East Liberty): Eat muffins. Drink mimosas. Shop Penn Avenue. 

✨ 5 p.m. Saturday (South Side): Take a “sound bath” at BYS Yoga Collective. Also referred to as a “horizontal concert,” expect to lie on a yoga mat and enjoy the music while receiving vibrational healing.

Sunday, Jan. 13

🏛 1 p.m. or 3 p.m. Sunday (Oakland): Take a tour of Carnegie Library‘s main branch and learn about the building’s art, architecture, and history.
