A look into the future of urban mobility with self-driving cars

Come to this Café Sci event to hear from Uber engineer Brian Zajac's thoughts on "The Future of Urban Mobility and Autonomous Vehicles." Doors open at 6 p.m. and the program starts at 7 p.m. Food and drinks are available for purchase.

A 31-hour farewell to Carnegie Science Center’s Omnimax Theater

The Rangos Omnimax Theater at Carnegie Science Center will soon close to make way for a new space this fall. Say goodbye by watching up to 31 hours of films, including "National Parks Adventure," "Sea Monsters" and "Pittsburgh's Big Picture." Cost of admission includes all 31 hours. Tickets must be purchased in person.

Where: Rangos Omnimax Theater at the Carnegie Science Center at 1 Allegheny Ave. (North Shore)

When: July 8, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. to July 9, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.

How much: $5 for members | $10 for general public


Make yourself into prom king or queen

Party like it's prom in 1999 at this 21+ prom. Strike a pose at the selfie station or get new prom photos taken at the green screen. And yes, you can have your own crown to declare you're royalty. Dancing and flowers included.
