Participants in Fun A Day Pittsburgh committed to do at least one fun thing a day during January. They'll exhibit their projects at TechShop this weekend. There's an opening reception from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday. The exhibition is also open Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Craft with concrete, bring your own booze
Pop Craft is hosting a concrete crafting workshop at TechShop. "You’ll start by creating a mold of your choice of candle holder design options," per the organizer. "Once it is sealed and supported, you’ll mix concrete and pour your creation. You’ll leave with your geometric candle holder." BYOB, don't wear your favorite shirt.
