One day after the Transgender Day of Visibility, SisTers PGH is hosting a vigil to remember murdered trans women and cisgender women of color. Speakers include SisTers founder and LGBTQIA+ Advisory Council member Ciora Thomas, New Voices' La'Tasha D. Mayes and Shanea Leonard of the Judah Fellowship.

‘Philadelphia’ screenings to benefit LGBTQ kids
Row House cinema is screening "Philadelphia," for which Tom Hanks won an Oscar for his portrayal of a lawyer with AIDS, on Monday and Wednesday. $3 from each ticket will go to Proud Haven, a nonprofit that supports LGBTQ kids and is trying to open a shelter for trans youth. Monday's screening starts at 7 p.m.; Wednesday's at 9 p.m.
